"If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work." (2 Timothy 2:21)
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to learn a little more about us. As you look over our site, we hope you get a better picture of what Mildred Baptist Church is all about.
We believe that life is lived to its fullest when it's lived in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and lived in community through a local church. We're excited to be joined together as a church family and would love to have you join us in our journey.
Maybe you're searching for a church home. Or maybe you're searching for answers to life's questions. No matter what your situation, we would love to share with you what God is doing in our lives as individuals and as a church. If after visiting our web site you're interested in learning more about us, please contact us at email@example.com or call us at (903) 874-7928.
You are invited to come join us for a Sunday service sometime. We start at 10:20AM.
Please let us know how we can serve you.
June is a "cool" month! Maybe I should choose a better adjective since it looks like we're starting June with triple digit temperatures, but you
know what I mean. June is a fun time.
Kids are out of school - enjoying some freedom. Families are on vacation or planning vacations. Flowers are blooming and Bar-B-Q
grills are sizzling.
At MBC we have gotten a running start toward June with a terrific Fish Fry and Baptism to close out May, and now June will begin with
Youth Camp and end with VBS - with Father's Day in between. What's not to like about that!
I hope whatever you are doing this month - whether at home or on the road - you will stay closely connected to your MBC Family.
Summer is "family time" and MBC is family. Plan a cookout with other MBC friends. Have a Sunday School party in your yard. Volunteer
to help with VBS. Take some time to pray with your family, and don't forget to intercede for our Pastor Search Committee. Summertime would
be a great time for a Pastor's family to relocate!
Betty and I love y'all!
