"If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work." (2 Timothy 2:21)
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to learn a little more about us. As you look over our site, we hope you get a better picture of what Mildred Baptist Church is all about.
We believe that life is lived to its fullest when it's lived in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and lived in community through a local church. We're excited to be joined together as a church family and would love to have you join us in our journey.
Maybe you're searching for a church home. Or maybe you're searching for answers to life's questions. No matter what your situation, we would love to share with you what God is doing in our lives as individuals and as a church. If after visiting our web site you're interested in learning more about us, please contact us at email@example.com or call us at (903) 874-7928.
You are invited to come join us for a Sunday service sometime. We start at 10:20AM.
Please let us know how we can serve you.
The year has started beautifully at Mildred Baptist Church, and February is shaping up to be extra special! We are looking forward to having a great time at five or more "Cottage Meetings." I hope you have signed up for one or will do so soon. The Transition Team is eager for everyone to join in the conversation about the future of MBC. We want to know about your dreams and expectations. Also in February, on the 11th we will enjoy our annual Chili Cook-off and a terrific concert with Keron L. Jackson. That will be a fun evening and a blessed one as well. Tell your friends! On Sunday, the 18th, we will spend a little time in the morning worship hour catching up with some of our ministry partners. A representative will be with us from Hope Center and from Baptist Student Ministries to share briefly about their special work, and I will take a few minutes to remind us all of what we do together with other Baptists across Texas. We're calling it "Connections Sunday," and I'm praying it will help us all see the work of the Kingdom on a broader scale than we sometimes do. We cannot do all God has called us to by ourselves. Partnering with other believers is essential for "Great Commission Christians!" Don't miss a thing! We need you involved! See you Sunday! God bless! Bro. Linn
